Welcome to Newhunter.org, a site completely dedicated to the new hunter! Are you a new hunter anxious about getting started in the hunting world? We are here to help. Simply create a free account to unlock mentors nationwide! These mentors are well suited, and excited to help get you out in the field.

Not quite ready to go on that first hunt but have questions? That is great. Find a mentor in your state and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. You are also welcome to go to the Contact page and send us a message. We will get back to you quickly.

Meet Nate and Thomas

Nate and Thomas are Co-owners of the outdoor media company- Identical Draw. Founded in 2016, the brothers have focused on high quality content, making a positive impact in the hunting industry, and more recently; their time spent with new hunters. Beginning in the fall of 2020, Nate and Thomas began devoting their time and knowledge to getting more new hunters out into the field. 11 new hunters were made into life-long hunters that first fall. Since then, they have realized the difficulty of finding a good mentor. They hope to fix this problem here.

The New hunter program

Thomas and Nate took out 11 new hunters in during the fall of 2020, and their hunting lives changed forever. Never had they felt such satisfaction while out on a hunt. Four of the eleven hunters were successful and many others found success later in the season on their own. The great part was seeing the high retention rates with these new hunters. It’s important for mentors not to focus on getting through the weekend, but instead to slow down and invest in the new hunter.
